David Dwyer is a real gem of a professor. His class was hilarious and helped me see algebra in a different way. I've always been good at math, so I didn't struggle very much. He was always willing to explain things. He does offer help in class and tutoring M-T. He provides review sessions before every exam. GO TO THEM. Oh and he gives lots of EC!

Dave teaches math in a manner that makes it understandable and not something blindly accepted. There is effort needed, but most of the content covered was review or built upon concepts you already understand from high school algebra. I love Dave. He is hilarious and cares about his students. I loved being in his class.

Fantastic! Incredibly enthusiastic about math and teaching! The easiest professor to approach I've ever met. He definitely doesn't pull his punches when it comes to difficulty, and you'll put work into his classes, but you won't be able to say you didn't learn something!

Not only is Dwyer an extremely capable educator and effective communicator, he also mixes generous amounts of entertainment and humor into his classes. His class was the highlight of my day, and part of me wishes I failed so that I had a reason to take his class again. Definitely recommended.

The funniest teacher I have ever had, a very enjoyable class. If math comes easy for you this class should be easy. If not, he is very approachable for help.
