Very good professor, knows his material. He is very versatile and can teach many math classes as well as science classes. He provides lots of research opportunities for his students and saves the university lots of money by fixing their science instruments.

Excellent prof. He teaches with clarity and is willing to work with anyone who needs help individually. Name a college prof who does that these days? Laman made physics easy - one of the best prof's I've ever had.

Lots office hours. There are no surprises on the tests. He calls homework "take home quizzes". Is much more available outside of class than the average instructor. Friendly and respectful of students. Tells interesting science related stories the minimize the boredom factor.

Class was difficult but Dr. Laman provides more than sufficient time out of class for help. Dr. Laman obviously enjoys teaching the subject matter. He is respectful of students and provides a calm comfortable atmosphere in the classroom. Interesting real world examples are used frequently.
