I was in a 110 kid class. Test were on iPad's, but were still really hard. He had to scale every test. When he assigned things it would be unclear of what he wanted. Did not do a good job explaining the lecture slides. The worst part was he always kept you at least 2 min. late because he would start a second PowerPoint with 5 min of class left...

Hilarious. flipped classroom style is really helpful. easy about turing in assignments late, all of the tests where you actually have to do math are take home. Challenging class but if you put in the work you will get really good results. awkward in the best kind of way. Very smary

I was scared to take this class because I never considered myself a "math person". However, I received an A in the class. It's a flipped style classroom, so you watch the lessons online the night before class and then discuss the video during class. Its a lot of hard work and takes dedication, but if you put in the effort you'll do fine!

Took psych stats with shaw. He changed his syllabus from previous years and made it alot easier for students. He understands that stats can be hard and is extremely helpful and clear about what he expects. Just do what he wants and work hard for your grade and you get an Easy A.

He gives you a study guide with absolutely every possible test question on it before the exam. Then, he checks Blackboard for any questions until like 10 PM the night before. His jokes are generally unfunny but it's funny when he laughs at them. Overall, likeable guy with very straightforward, fair tests.

I loved him! Yes- he finds himself extremely hilarious- but its funny! haha He spends a good amount of class time cracking jokes. He is a very fair grader and the material he presents is interesting! Highly recommended :)
