Professor Lambert is a kind man, but his class is honestly a waste of time and money. He simply shows YouTube videos and gives some commentary afterwards, and when tests come around, good luck. The majority of the class was frustrated because we felt like we had to teach ourselves. You don't use a textbook because everything is online.

If you are bad on tests, DO NOT TAKE HIM! He only has four tests in the class and that's your entire grade. He won't fail anyone, but you definitely will get a C or above. Hard to get an A unless you're a natural test taker.

Dr. Lambert is a great professor, although he's a little eccentric and that does show in how he teaches his class. He tends to teach by topic rather than date, likes participation, and all of his material is online (which means no textbook). He genuinely loves all his students and what he does. I had him about a year ago and he STILL remembers me.

Professor Lambert is one of the best. He loves his students and is very helpful if you choose to seek him out. He is goofy and fun and loves what he does. You must try in his class with participation and studying for the three exams. It is all worth it, though. You learn a lot and get to enjoy a terrific professor!

I'm a history minor and I absolutely love US History, but I think there's better professors that could make the material both more clear and more interesting. He requires laptops in class which results in a real lack of attention from almost everyone. The tests are rough; you have to memorize every single thing on the study guide to get an A.

He is a really good professor that started each class off with a prayer. He genuinely cares but he is no nonsense in his class & he expects participation. Although, you most likely will not earn an A, a B is manageable. He is definitely an old school type of professor with a good heart. If you listen in class, you will pass. He does take attendan

I love Lambert! He is a fantastic teacher who is absolutely brilliant! His lectures are incredibly interesting but the students must participate or else he gets offended. Also his tests require you to memorize the study guide from top to bottom. Other than that he is an excellent teacher who is fun and engaging with the class! He loves his students

He is a really good guy. Loved having him as a professor. Funny, caring, and nice. But if you are looking to learn anything about History- you are better zoning out in class and just doing the daily homework assignments. He has 3 tests- all that are easy if you know the study guide. But he has poor grading criteria and it's hard to get an A

Lambert is enthusiastic and loves his students. He gets offended if people don't participate. I would recommend having one thing to say every class, and he will love you for sure. He cracked very edgy jokes for a 71-year-old prof. All of the credit is participation and in-class essays which are really hard. All laptop no textbook. Great teacher.

Lambert is the man. He loves history so much and adores his students. He gets offended when people don't participate, but does his best to stay optimistic and in a good mood. Sings songs on Friday, cracks jokes all the time, and requires computers for class. The tests are the only things that count toward the grade, and they're difficult.

Very nice and cares about his students. Has war stories. Actually class time was a waste. Talks over his students a lot. Learn everything from online articles that we read for homework and commented on in class. Tests difficult, we had to memorize everything. But memorize the study guide he makes and you're golden. He has an awesome song he sings.

Lambert was the easiest professor I have ever taken. He LOVES athletes and if you were a non-athlete I'm pretty sure you felt like you were the middle child. I didn't learn much due to the fact there are no test, papers, or final but I got a good grade so I'm happy with it.

Professor Lambert was awesome. He has a unique, but effective way of teaching. There are no textbooks, tests, quizzes, papers, midterms, or a final. To get an A in his class just complete a 250 word response to an online article that he assigns you and participate in the discussions. More engaging way of learning. Highly recommend people take him.
