Comment:
David is good at what he does and has been doing it for a while. He's a nice guy and easy to talk to in person. Pretty lenient with grading. Don't expect anything online - the class is entirely in person and assignments are given during class, often only verbally. Do expect: "in with it on with it"

Comment:
David was my first drawing teacher. The classroom is led by students, he shows us a general idea and then he lets us take off on our own paths, giving us a chance to learn from other students. There are a lot of drawing assignments but the assignments really helped. I actually learned a great deal. I would recommend.

He seemed to pick a few favorite students out of class and concentrated on them, leaving the rest of the class out. He mumbled alot and promised a lot things that he did not deliver on. I'm not happy at all with this professor.

I had David in the early 90s. He was very serious, and you knew not to f--- with him. But...he was also funny in class and he taught well.I learned a lot from him and I was blown away the times he brought in his art work. Always inspiring to have a teacher who still produces quality.
