I love this man!! I am actually putting off my Lit class till i can have him dext year because his class didn't fit into my schedule. He is a GREAT teacher. He really cares about you and your achievement!! He really wants you to learn the material not just know it.

God, this guy is ridiculous!!! Strict attendance policy, and he won't even tell you your grade in the class even if you ask him! Class is not structured at all so don't take him if you want to learn something! It's all about the camping trips and nature, and you learn nothing!!!!If you miss class, he won't let you make up anything!!! No matter what

TONS & TONS of reading.. expect quizzes daily..you have to write 3 papers as well. tries to relate everything you read to real life. Quizzes ask random questions that have nothing to do with the main story line, absolutely rediculous!.. class was ok, but did not adequately show my true abilities..

I thought a class on water would be boring, not with dave powell though. I reccommend taking any class that he teaches. It's not easy stuff that you're learning but Dave makes it that way. He's very clear in his speaking and knows exactly what's going on. He even had everyones names memorized by day 2.

He is my FAVORITE teacher at this school. He is crazy and fun and really cares. His class is hard, but you get so much out of it. Definitely take him if you can while you are here. He is inspiring.
