At the beginning of the semester, students signed up to teach class on a certain date. Then each student had a final presentation. Professor Coning didn't teach at all. This was a good class for the education majors but was it was disappointing for everyone else. She seemed really nice but left rude condescending comments on quizzes.

Comment:

Professor Coning is one of the kindest people you will ever meet! In this class, she was always available over email, and will work out the kinks in both your speeches and papers with you. She's got a heart of gold, and can always put a smile on your face. Carefully follow her rubrics and you'll be just fine in regards to grades.

Very nice Professor. I took Children's Literature from her. Easy to meet with outside of class. Students do a lot in class both presenting and discussions. Fairly quick feedback. Class was a lot of fun. No textbooks, just literature. :)

She definitely teaches well. She is strict on rules such as grammar on your papers. However, you will go over your paper several times before sumbitting it, so as long as you take her corrections seriously, it will be okay. Nice professor overall. Recommend her!

I loooved her! She is very sweet. She is a strict grader, but that is because you meet with her at least twice before submitting an assignment oing presentation. If you do poorly, it is because you did not take her proir advice. She is very helpful and understanding. I would reccommend her anyone.

I switched majors because of her. She clearly loves what she teaches and made me love it too. Highly dedicated. Will bend over backward to help her students, but doesn't coddle. She works hard and expects no less from anyone in her class.

This class for useless as a lit class. All we did was talk about lesson plans and she was a horrible prof. Just because it was a children's lit course doesn't mean I should feel like I am in grade school again. Worthless class and a worthless prof.
