His instructions weren't always clear but you can take advantage of the free grading. Got stranded in another state during a huge hurricane and got super behind. He worked with me as I caught up. He gives feedback if you ask, he's pretty quick to respond. His holiday emails/videos are cute

*ONLINE* I wouldn't recommend this professor unless you already have a background in computer classes. Fundamentals of MIS is a prerequisite for this class, however it did not prepare me in the slightest. The labs read like IKEA instructions, couldn't follow them at all. I'm sure he's a great guy, but I feel this class is too difficult for a BBA.

He is bar none the worst professor Ive ever had. He is ex-military so hes that kind of guy, we all know the type, he treats you like an idiot for not having read the entire book before you come to class. If he would spend half as much time teaching as he does talking about what he saw on Fox News the night before we might learn something.

AMAZING professor. If you are lazy and wont do your work, he is not for you. His doors are open anytime he is in the office. He free grades ALL of your assignments, so homeworks are guaranteed A. Very passionate about what he teaches. Helps students WHO are proactive and ACTUALLY WANT TO LEARN. He is THE best but you have to try on your end.

I was very technically challenged, and was worried about passing this class, but Mr. Smith has free grading and will spend limitless time with you making sure you complete all the homework. The only negative is the syllabus and the Black Board assignments are not very clear.

terrible. doesn't know how to 'teach'. more like "here, just do it". ex-military, so everything is an acronym. probably knows some about computing but all he does is talk about himself and his career. needs to retire.

This was my first online MBA class and I was not that interested in IT stuff. I did learn a lot and had to effort into the class but managed an A! He has great office hours and responds pretty much immediately to questions. He has audio lectures for online students which is great and allows another learning opportunity. Great experience!

Horrible! He basically told me I was stupid for not knowing the material. Duh, that's why I'm in class to LEARN! He was mean spirited and didn't show an interest in me learning whatsoever. When I would go to his office for help, he would tell me just to know. Seriously?? I had to drop the class because I was so lost. He should not be teaching.

Take anyone but Mr. Smith. He isn't a good teacher at all. I learned more about his military career then I did about MIS. He doesn't teach and thinks that we should all be computer experts. Don't expect to be able to complete ANY assignments without sitting in his office for hours as he doesn't do any Lab instruction to explain how to do them

This gentleman is the greatest. He wants his students to learn, and he is always there to offer advice about the direction a student is going with assignments. Do not let the syllabus scare you. The course work is not easy and it may look overwhelming, but with some effort it can be accomplished in a timely manner.

He's a very nice person. However, he does not teach anything in class. Most of the things you hear in class are not relevant for the test. Even when you study for the test, sometimes you still can't make high score. If i want to take an online class i would have done it. This is not an online!!!
