Dr. Stroup is an amazing teacher! I am terrible at Biology and he helped me almost every day with understanding the information. His tests come from the notes and handouts. It was still a difficult subject for me but having a great professor made all the difference in the world.

He was a wonderful teacher! I took this class in summer1. He is willing to help anyway he can if you just talk to him, and if you go to class everyday he will help your final grade. By that I mean, if you almost have an A in the class and you're one point away from it, he will give it to you, but you have to show you've tried through the semester.

Extremely helpful, went over the material very carefully and reviewed from the previous sessions briefly. Always had handouts available, and the exams were not cumulative making the amount of material smaller over all per test. However, each test DOES contain a lot of information, so studying is important.

Dr. Stroup overall is a great professor. His teaching comes across really clear. He uses a overhead projector for notes, so it's easy to keep up. His tests can be tricky at times. Willing to help, but always seems like he is too busy in his office. Drops the lowest grade. You have to study to get an A but an F is hard to get. His class avg is 76.

Really great guy. He is fascinated by plants. His teaching style may seem a little scrambled at times, but when it comes time to study for the exams, its not that much of a problem. Lab grade is based on one paper, which I'm pretty sure everyone in the class got an A on.

Dr. Stroup is the sweetest professor. He is willing to help all student if they desire it. Just study all handouts and notes and you will do fine. His lab class is much easier. If you get him for lab just pay attention in lab and you will get an A.

Dr. Stroup is a good professor. For this class you only get four tests and the lowest grade will be dropped. He adds points to your tests that will pull you from a C to a B. He gives lots of handouts but if you study them and his lecture notes like he tells you to you are guaranteed to pass this class. However, you won't learn much.

Dr.Stroup is a great prof. If you can get him. He's very helpful and clear with everything he does. If you want an A or B study your notes and the handouts he gives you and you will get the grade that you want out of his class. IF YOU FAIL HIS CLASS SOMETHING IS COMPLETELY WRONG WITH YOU AND YOU SHOULD NOT BE IN COLLEGE.

dr. stroup was not easy. i studied my notes for every test and the stuff on the test was very different from the notes. he did not explain stuff very well. he knew it, he just didn't know how to bring it down to our level.
