Mr. Coker is a cool guy. He does his best to explain the complexity of C++ in layman's terms so everyone can understand it. He gives you several HW assignments, but most are relatively easy. My only complaint are his tests. They are not hard, but long, wordy, and he is very particular with his answers, but he does curve the grades.

I forget what the actual section/course number was for this class (3 years is a long time to be out of school), but I enjoyed it very much. Coker is a professor who cares for his students and wants them to excel in all that they do; FMU could use more individuals like him.

DR. COKER IS A VERY NICE PROFESSOR WHO IS WILLING TO HELP YOU WHENEVER YOU NEED HELP WITH A PROJECT OR ANYTHING ELSE. HE CAN SAY SOME STUPID JOKES AT TIME, BUT IT IS TO GET THE CLASS MORE INTERESTED INTO HIM AND INTO THE SUBJECT. I ENJOYED THIS CLASS BECAUSE IT WAS VERY EASY AND HE WAS A COOL PROFESSOR. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!

Fairly straightforward and simple class. Coker presents the material in an understandable manner for those getting into programming. He covers all the fundamentals and gives useful projects. His tests usually consist of interpreting the behavior of code.
