he's a nice guy. but a horrible professor goes way to fast, goes off topic talking about his kids and wife and the stupid blackburn hockey team (or something like that) what too much and does not post clear instructions for assignments nor does he post reviews for test/ exams his learn is all scattered all over the place and very unorganized.

as nice as the guy was, he did not post reviews for tests/exams, and his slideshows contained almost entirely pictures without context. his lectures were often off-topic and it was incredibly frustrating. in the learning plan, it said that the textbook was mandatory, but it was actually used very rarely, if at all.

He's a nice guy but spent every lecture going on about his wife and irrelevant things. For a exam he gave a review and the entire exam consisted of things that weren't part of the review. his classes were a complete waste of time.

Dave is so smart and kind. I had a family incident 2 days before an important paper was due and he had no issues with me taking an extension. In fact, he approached me a few days later to ask how I was doing. He is so kind and you can tell by his lectures he has a lot of knowledge about the topics. And he is always excited to answer questions.

Sometime's it's hard to keep up with his lectures, but he is very informative and caring with his students. Overall probably my favorite teacher in the GAS program since he cares about what he is teaching and those he teaches and keeps students involved. Great teacher, those who complain are often those who don't attend, pay attention or study.

Wearing is as perfect as a teacher can be, and has a funny yet sarcastic sense of humor. He is also very helpful outside of class. I took his Independent Study (ISU) class in 2007 and Dave took time out of his BUSY schedule to come with me to the school library to help me find resources for my ISU essay! He truly cares about all of his students.

This dude is seriously one of the best if not THE best. He always takes time out for students even if they are not "his" students and will sit down with you and help you out as much as he can. He's not the easiest marker but it's because he can see your potential and strives to help you reach it. LOVE WEARING!!!

Best prof ever. He teaches with the utmost clarity and precision. I have yet to meet someone who makes learning as fun and clear. The GAS program is amazing and great for students who had limited direction in highschool. As an individual he is one of the greatest humans I have ever met. Just don't make fun of his lackluster Rovers.

A wee bit eccentric. He depends a lot on using analogies and is a hoot to be around. Dave is a very hard marker, but he actually tells you what you need to fix! I have actually learned how to improve my writing skills because of this man.
