I took this course eight years ago, and it still has a positive influence on my art. Prof. Ahlsted was inspiring and enthusiastic, yet very challenging . He allowed us the freedom to to try, to fail and try again. It was clear he loved teaching. He was awarded the 1989 New Jersey Governors award for excellence in teaching.

art is never clear to me, and he did his best to explain it. ended up with an a in the class but i had to work hard for it, don't take his classes if you want to slack off! it was worth it though, i still have my final project hanging in my house!
