Judy Mosoff is thoroughly dedicated to putting in the minimum effort possible in terms of course preparation and instruction. She is consistently apathetic about organizingcoordinating events and presentations or communicating practical information such as where a make-up class will be held.

Found the lectures over simplified, and when we asked questions she usually muddied the issue with her answer. However, the class did improve part way through the year, she was just pretty slow to get going. Difficult to figure out her criteria for grading. Felt kinda bad for her but all in all not a good prof.

Stutters in a monotone. Took 4 tries before she sent us the proper assignment. Once assigned readings and then told us a week later that she had assigned the wrong pages. EVER kind of number she EVER gives you is subject to revision. Rather than teach, she once showed the first 90 minutes of "A Beautiful Mind" for no reason. AVOID LIKE GRIM DEATH!

Why, oh why? No preparation, poor time management, contradicts herself all the time, makes mistakes that first-years pick up on right away. Too bad we didn't have any choice in our schedules. Won't be any criminal lawyers coming out of this class.

Swallow-your-tongue awful. Lazy, uninformed, irrational and biased. God help you if you don't follow her hidden agenda. No help with the assignments and dismissive when students ask her to help with practice exams. The only reason to go to her class is to see how she'll bring the crazy that week. Somebody stop her before she inflicts herself on another first-year class.

Very Lazy. Not helpful. No knowledge of the subject matter. Ineffective teacher. Makes you hate Criminal law which would otherwise be interesting and even fun. In the top 5 worst profs at UBC Law. She tries to make up for this by taking you for Court visits and allowing you to watch videos, but this just gives more evidence of her laziness.

The worst professor I have ever met at UBC. She was very unhelpful. The discussion was useless. Avoid her if you can. Unfortunately, I was assigned to her discusssion group which was totally boring and a complete waste of time.

When I came to law school I thought I might be interested in crim, I no longer have that thought. I did see sparks of genius from her once in a while but they were not enough to overcome the shopping cart crazy woman image she portrayed for 99% of the class.
