I loved this class. Lectures are clear and mostly straight from the book. Tests are challenging though. If you're not a Psych major, take someone else. He also doesn't like a lot of questions being asked. He tends to get annoyed sometimes.

Difficult class. Defintely need to do the HW (collected), and the manual exercises to survive in this class. Exams are in 2 parts- in class (essay) and take home (calculations). All in all not to bad, but could be better. P.S. manual exercises are usually done 50% in class in groups or as a class in the computer lab (SPSS).

Cool guy, always extends his office hours. May be a bit tough on students who clearly don't study or who are really freaking stupid, but his distinctive voice brightens any day. As long as he isn't handing out an exam.

Makes you feel like a fool if you don't give the exact answer, even if your answer has merit. Doesn't take attendence but most of his exam is from lecture. Class was always energetic and interesting and made material really easy to understand and relate to life. Too much focus on vocab in papers instead of understanding concepts. Not the nicest guy

Very fun 8 o'clock class :). We were seniors at a the time and would do our lab the night before instead of in class just so we could get up hand it in and leave. He used to just shake his head. I learned a lot though, and got a lot out of it. Very positive experience.

I'm an alum. Prof. Anderson doesn't give up on a student even when the student isn't totally struggleing. He's one of those professors you'll remember years after graduating.
