I had his classes 20 years ago. At the time I thought his assigned work load was very heavy and he was tough on grading and probably would have rated him Low because of that. I have since realized that this is what to expect in the working world and he undoubtedly prepared me more for my professional career than any other professor because of it.

The guy can be nice sometimes but is mostly a jerk. Doesn't care at all about his students. My overall grade in the class was a 79.89 and he gave me a C. Wtf. I asked if he could round up a fraction of a percent (like most professors would do) or give me an extra credit credit assignment and he wouldn't budge. Also, sucks at explaining concepts.

Salazar is a nice guy and he cares deeply for what he does and his students. His quizzes are graded some what harshly at times but as long as you do your hw you can do well on them. The homework is busy work mostly and is a lot of complicated excel work. The group project can be kind of vague, ask as for help as much as you need in order to succeed

Helpful outside of class even though he is taking on several projects and is part of several committees. He even takes on students who are paired with other advisors who aren't receiving as much help. Good guy! Uses a lot of hands on examples and gets students connected with real employers and people in the industry.

Prof. Salazar is a great professor. If you go talk to him he will work hard to help you and can always provide useful real-world examples to put the project into perspective. I would recommend him to any student!!

Horrible professor. Has no concept of time and assigns very vauge and time consuming work. If you take one class with him, you will have taken them all since he uses the same powerpoints and only knows how to teach project management. Even in a class that solely was meant to teach 3D design, he teaches project management.

Did an MQP project with him in 2001/2002 as an exchange students. He is very dedicated and helpful. Takes his job seriously and provides very good hints. Even though it was a tough time for me, I had a very good experience. Thanks again.
