Sort of a mixed bag. Knows his stuff and supplies you with a lot of information that other professors won't, but can be unfocused and get hung up talking about unrelated material or joking. Overall thought he was pretty informative, but can be frustrating at times. When he is actually teaching he's pretty good.

Not for everyone some hated him but if you're willing to get into the material and not just have facts thrown at you a great professor encourages you to figure things out for yourself but willing to help if you get stuck (email might not be the best way to get his attention though) Not many tests but homework assignments tend to be very involved.

As a teacher, Prof. Antolovich fails. He is late to class, unprepared, and does not explain material clearly. This class was a waist of time, I suggest a different teacher.

Spare yourself and avoid his classes if you can. Is very lax in his approach to class and homework. Doesn't view teaching as a job with responsibility. Class notes he provides are wrought with typos and code examples that won't run. Dedicates class time to doing stand-up comedy and telling long stories that do not relate to class material.

This professor is not clear and not thoughtfull in his lectures. He often talks more about his work experience than the subject matter. This class should give us a good understanding of C++, but so far I'm learning more about what he doesn't like aobut the technical marketplace. He also is not helpful in assignments and questions.

He rambles. He preaches. He's late to class - everyday. He gets off topic. No midterms or quizes - just a final.... so how are we supposed to pass that if we don't have practice? He doesn't follow any book. He told us to buy all 3 books, but he doesn't use any of them. Great use of money. He laughs at his own jokes. Avoid him.

unorganized, doesn't show interest in his material, I have to drink lots of coffee before his class and stil would fall asleep, he knows what he is teaching very well but he can't see that we don't know it at all and that he should explain more, I basically have to study on my own, which is fine but I paid alot of money for the class :(

Great professor. Tends to focus almost entirely on practical applications, and entirely glazes over pure theory. Provides phenomenal notes, his assignments aren't terribly hard, but can take up alot of time. Has been my favorite CS prof at Cleveland State so far.

very challenging labs but it really makes you learn how and why each structure works. flexible on due dates and unlimited bonus opportunity. teaches from his own notes. the books is entirely supplemental.

If you like to really learn about database and how it is created, I would recommend not to take this course with Antolovich. Rather, go and work a bit harder with Matos. Antolovich will explain just the business side of the real world programming.
