Comment:

Great teacher, good sense of humor, and very helpful. As long as you show up to class and complete all the work on time, you should be fine. He was there to help all throughout the semester when needed. I recommend this class to anybody who needs it.

No instruction. No programing examples. I complained and he invited me to attend a RL class--defeats purpose of online class--but I went and NO INSTRUCTION IN CLASS, EITHER! When asked a question, Magliolo said he covered it last classargued kid was absent. ACC doesn't care. Worse class I ever took. You get more from YouTube without blowing $$$.

He is a ridiculous teacher. He piles on so much workload it becomes over whelming. It may not me hard but there will be five assignments due in a two day time frame and they each take about and hour and a half to complete. He is no help. Don't try asking for help he won't give any. I would definitely not recommend this professors online course.

God forbid you have any issues because no matter what,it is your fault.This teacher WILL yell at you!If you try to go to him for help he makes it his primary goal to let you know that he is right and you are wrong.I couldn't go to him for anything without getting verbally abused.On top of that he assigns work as if you have no other classes!Awful!

Mr. Magliolo has limited interpersonal skills and is not an effective communicator. I was VERY disappointed with my interactions with him and do not recommend his classes at all.

I took Mr. Magliolo's class online. He can come accross as rude. He is very clear on his expectations and the outline for the class is pretty straight forward. Just do the work and turn it in and you'll pass the class. The work isn't hard, there is just a lot of it.

Comment:

Yes, his internet classes are very repetitive and boring, but his flexibilty in offering them to me helped me graduate on time. In person he is very helpful and nice, but a little sarcastic, and I suspect he may be a bit meaner on purpose to the people he notices goofing off in the computer labs. If you are dedicated to the class, you'll like him.

This class was hard because of the amount of work required by this teacher. The instructions for assignments are very long and MUST be done EXACTLY as written. Very time consuming clss!!!! He is also rude to students. I was very happy to make it out of this class!!!!

Worst teacher I have ever met. He expects large amounts of work and everything must be perfect. He acts quite the opposite of what he demands of his students. He is unorganized and seemingly ignorant. When we took the final it took him 30 minutes to get it set up then he killed it half way through. This teacher is inept... AVOID!

I hated this class I graduated from this school with a 3.98 and this class sucked. He expects a asinine amount of work and is compleatly rude. He accused me of cheating for no reason and threatned to have me put academic probation. I didnt cheat instead I did all of the work and received poor marks. Avoid teacher at all costs!!

Took the online summer course. IT'S EXTREMELY TIME CONSUMING! I'm very good on computers and found the material and tests easy, but you spend countless hours following the step by step homework projects. I learned a lot from the class but don't take it until you have plenty of free time.

easy to get ahold of when you need him! which if you're like me its all the time! ALOT of assignments. 3 tests for each section. not exactly easy. but in the thin book if you do the worksheet at the end of every chapter that is his quiz for each section.(hopefully he doesnt change it now) that made it a little easier. impatient. and kind of rude.

I took his course online this summer. The class has a ton of busy work! Massive amounts that just make you mad. Expect to spend 6-12 hours a week on this course.His test are fairly long and you have an hour to finish each. I made a "B" in the course and had to work for it.I spent more time on this class than all of my others combined.Not an easy A.

I am finishing up his internt course for COSC and I am SO glad!The amount of work he expects is ridiculous!His SIP is incomprehensible as are the responses you get when you ask him a question.I emailed him asking 5 different questions which I numbered and put in BOLD,and my response was..."Sounds good." This is typical. I hate this class.
