Idk what the last guy is talking about. Dave provides very interesting discussions, and gives great lectures. He is passionate about his courses, though yes perhaps a little dry at times. That dry wit though, very funny if you like dry humor.

Dave is seriously the best poli prof out there. I had him when attending RDC a few years back, and quite frankly no one compares. Dave cares about his students, pushes them to try their hardest and teaches is a very organized manner. Would recommend a class from Dave and to any who may be scared, try Model UN and Debate club out, he will love that!

A fantastic Political Science instructor. Lectures well, and often brings up very interesting aspects and stories that the textbook ignores. His class was a great one to simply show up and listen to, which the light workload reinforced. His tests were extremely easy if one knows the material, though the essay takes much more time and effort.

Awesome professor! My most enjoyable class of the term. The class attracted professional students so group work was productive. David was clear and precise with instruction. I would take his class again if given the opportunity. Good attendance guarantees a good mark in the program. The exams were fair. Only the Essay took great effort.

Looking back, Dave is one of the best Poli sci profs I've had yet. He presents his material in a clear manner and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure you know what's happening. His sense of humor is a little dry but he's well worth your time. If you get the opportunity to do out of class activities like model UN with him, go. I promise an awesome time!

Excellent teacher, fair, helpful, and very objective even though he has strong political views underneath. get involved with him, join the Poli Sci Society, Model UN, and go visit him. If you're coming to Red Deer for your first year, and you're interested in poli sci, take his course, and join the Debate Club or Poli Sci Society. He's been a huge help to me in a lot of ways.
