Both 2018 ANI classes have him 1st yr storyboard+character. He knows his stuff and is the only teacher who insists on doing 1 to 1 critique for both courses. Bluestein is fantastic. His stories will leave you laughing but they also are a great teaching tool to show students that you can achieve your goals if you try hard enough. He is a tough marker but that's what you should expect from someone so talented. He will explain why he gave you the mark he did and will allow you to redo a project if need be.

He's geared towards the kinds of students who can take direction and allow him to trample all over you lying down. He's arrogant, rude and assumed I was a quitter on the second class. I got an A in everything but the one class he tought. I find he has such a superiority complex and because of his new family his attitude is passive and...arg.

Tends to be a little unclear of assignment expectations.I found him to be pretty close minded about some work, and he tends to favour certain people. I never knew what it was he was looking for in assingments. But overall, he knows what he's talkign about, he has fun classes, gives good workshops and is a pretty nice guy.Very passionate about art.
