Possesses a goofy energy which some will find amusing and others irritating (I'm one of the former). I wholly enjoyed the challenges of his class (i.e. acting out the story of a condensed play in silence) and am glad to have taken it.

boles is the biggest jerk i have ever had the displeasure of meeting. he swears his word is the last word, has absolutely no conscience or compassion and always emphasizes the wrong part of your name during roll call. waste of time, space, energy, air, a

I liked the class and Professor Boles. I wouldn't recommend taking his class if you don't like to write. It was very interesting.

This guy does not know what he's talking about. He doesn't teach you anything, and it makes me wonder if he knows anything about theatre. If you show effort tho, u'll do great. The fact is, he doesn't help you reach that next level and be the best you can be!

Changed format of class to invlove the students performing in front of class. first performance is hard but you soon realize most of the class is experienceing the same thing as you. No exams or papers unless you missed your performance. Fun class when you get into it. Few chances for EC.

David Boles is very nice...when he feels like being nice. He is moody and can sometimes have an attitude but if you just stay on his good side by always coming to class, his class is really very easy.
