He is amazing! The only reason why I enjoyed his class was because everything was a discussion or a debate so his lecture is engaging. He is smart and makes you think outside the box. Also, his sense of humor is hilarious, he does not take himself too seriously like other PhDs.

Comment:

I love Professor Boote! I took his class in the summer which was about the code of ethics of teachers. Class discussion played a big part in the class. The class was two days a week and was extremely long, but worth it. He was very funny and made class worth while. I would definitely take one of his courses again.

This course was not required by my program, but I chose it as one of my interdisciplinary electives because Dr. Boote is a nationally respected expert on the domains addressed in this course. His seminars were collegial, mutually respectful,and always informative. However, you have to work very hard in this course. One of my favorite professors.

Boote is well..... Boote! He has his own way of doing things. I feel as though he has lost his interest in teaching, which has a tremendous impact on the students' learning. I like him as a person, and would like him as a friend... (We seem to share a few ideas) but would not sign up in another class. I wish him luck in life!

He extremely knowledgeable but I believe though he is a egoistic professor. He mostly cares of about his own career and less about the student and sharing his knowledge and skills with the student. I wish I had that amazing experience that the others here describe.

I had at least 2 classes with Dr.Boote while working on my masters. Several years later, and I still value what I learned. Some of my best days in the classroom are when I'm modeling some of his teaching methods. Knows his discipline!!

Dr. Boote was well read and knew a good diversity of teaching disciplines. He was quick to show his bias about some teaching subjects, but don't we all. He did scare us all the first night of class by debating with anyone who dared to answer his questions. We did all exit the class knowing alot more about the field we studied.

Amazing teacher! He makes you work hard, but you learn a lot in his classes. He does an amazing job really making you THINK about your beliefs and presuppositions. Can be hard at times, but if you talk to him, and actually LISTEN, you can learn a lot. Definately will take a class of his again.

This was my first class at UCF, and he scared me a bit. When the class showed up unprepared, he read us the riot act. Most of us got B's or lower on our papers. Dr. Boote is a very nice looking man which made coming to class a whole lot easier.
