Comment:

Dr. Brant is one of my favorite professors. Hes hilarious, goes on many tangents, but shows how passionate he is about psychology. He cares about his students as well. Only one thing, for Abnormal Psychology there is a 10 page paper (technically 11) but it isnt due until the end of the semester. DO NOT procrastinate. Clear grading criteria.

Dr. Brant is the best teacher I have taken so far at RACC. He is compassionate and understanding. If you have the chance, do not miss out on taking his course!

Dr. Brant is a great professor. His class was a bit lecture heavy, which I don't mind, but he tries to keep it lively with jokes and an upbeat attitude. The homework gets pretty lengthy at times but it's not based on correctness making it fairly easy.

Hands down, best professor I had my freshman year! He is super funny, caring, very understanding, and did I mention funny! He makes everything relatable and easy to understand.

He was such an amazing professor to have. You can't go wrong with him. He engages alot instead of just lecturing straight from the book. Very respectful, and I don't think there was a single class where he didn't laugh. Work isn't overwhelming. Study guides always given a week before test; no surprises. Loved his class.

Dr. Brant was awesome! He is funny and uses different ways to teach like discussion, power point (his own not canned), video, humor, activities in class, etc. He gives fantastic study guides for tests, one week ahead of time. The textbook is interesting and an enjoyable read. His lectures cover a lot of the material.

Great professor. I looked forward to his class. He has a great personality that sets a fun tone within his classroom. He gives a nice clear study guide. If you put in the effort you should be ok. One paper is assigned during the semester.

Dr. Brant is an awesome professor! There is a lot of reading, but he makes the topics fun and relatable through lectures. He is hilarious and I would recommend taking him for a psych class if possible. Attendance is essential to understanding the material and passing. Test are multiple choice with an essay, and there is one (short) APA paper.

I recommend him as a professor! He's a great individual that seems to love his job & what he does. The class itself requires a lot of reading but he does his best to make it interesting and fun so we wouldn't get bored while actually covering EVERYTHING we needed to cover. He created a comfortable environment where we felt safe to ask questions..

Great fair teacher. Gives interesting lectures. He makes chapters fit along with each other so you don't get confused. Tests play big chunk of your grade but he gives study guides that include everything on the test. If your taking psychology I wouldn't take anyone else

BEST PROFESSOR EVER. Dr Brant is hilarious, well educated in his field, and centers his tests around what goes on in class. You do have to write an APA paper so take 121 BEFORE this class! Awesome guy, learns your name after a week and loves conversation. Definitely going to miss him after this semester! Attendance is mandatory if you want to pass.

This professor is AMAZING!! I have taken 4 classes with him and must say that he truly makes psychology clear and memorable. He dances around the room to help us remember the biological terms. Yes, his quizzes and assignments can be tough, but he is fair and makes you earn your grade. I highly recommend this teacher to anyone!!

Hands down, best class I ever took and best professor I ever had. Dr. Brant is hilarious and endlessly fascinating. He also happens to be the nicest guy ever - he joked with everyone and gave the best advice (he's a practicing psychologist!) His honors psych class was challenging but so rewarding. I can't say enough good things about him!

I love Dr.Brant! My favorite professor of all time. 3 tests, 10 page paper, presentation, and online discussion question, you really cannot fail. He also does an impersonation of a person suffering from a mental disorder. I really recommend taking him.

Can't say enough about the guy as a person and as a teacher. He sparked my interest in psychology and now I am on my way to becoming a therapist. Take him you will learn and laugh.
