Comment:
Took Human Computer Interactions class. Uses his own website for class. Website is designed poorly with grammatical errors (irony). All in class questions are answered with "read the book/webpage," even if the question was about something in said materials. Lecture/reading are on completely separate subjects every week. Does not inspire confidence.

Can be a cool guy, but assigned bad/uninteresting projects all based off the previous ones, and the material, surprisingly, was horribly boring. Projects also took forever... Say no to Scheme!

This professor took our little MQP project very seriously, which made us worker harder at it and thus learn more. He challenged us to explain our ideas well and to write well. He works late, which is good for us college students. I'd recommend working with him in the future if you get a chance.

as a professor he may be ok but parojects require programming that he teaches little about. also the class is allllllllllllll BS. It's mainly common knowledge. if you can BS very well then you'll end up with a good grade in this class

Decent MQP advisor, took a while for comments on our paper but ended up with an A. HCI was hard, but decent. He made fun of my friend when he fell asleep in class.

Worst advisor I could imagine. Didnt understand the project, and made horrible assumptions. He loves the boring mundane details. Grading is quite biased

Tough grader, but was clear in what he wanted and very helpful when the going got tough. Best advisor I've had out of the 3 projects.

Great advisor for my MQP - he had very high expectations, but he helped us produce a great project. Expectations were always clear, and feedback was helpful (though not always fast).

Worst course in my grad. study since he asks everyone to read book in advance and does not discuss in detail, it can be difficult. His projects are not about the stuff in the book and follow an old pattern of projects so it can become a nightmare.

Treats the subject matter very seriously. Class has much writing and little programming. British accent and attitude are always entertaining.
