She is a good teacher who can keep you fairly interested through group presentations on the material rather than 100% boring lectures. It's easy to study for the tests when she reuses many questions from the term before. Find someone with the old test and study from it. When I took it, 90% of the questions were from the old test.

I have done work with networking before so I am slightly biased, however, with only basic network knowledge and paying somewhat attention in class it would be very easy to get an A without ever opening the book. As it is I missed half the classes and broke the books binding the day of the final and still got a B for the course!
