Terrific professor. Personally, he is approachable, helpful, and enjoyable. Professionally, he is a fountain of knowledge and thought. Classes involve fairly heavy material, but they will get you to think about things you haven't thought about before. Offers well-prepared and organized classes, and assignments are straightforward. One of the best.

Nice enough, but impossible to stay awake for his lectures. Unrhythmic and robotic drone of a voice, and goes on tangents. Very few students could keep focus because his manner of speaking is so dull. That being said, he seems like a nice man who cares about his subject. Wears nice ties. The pink one is my favorite.

Hands down the best professor I have had at university. Extremely friendly and intelligent. He is always available for help and responds to emails almost instantly. Although his class required a lot of effort, I learned that prior to his class I knew nothing about history. A must take for any history major.

Take this class early on in your degree- the quicker you get to know this man, the better. Very respectful, interested in his students, realistic about his job and disdainful towards the b.s. of academia. Nice, always smiles, and dresses extremely well! In good shape too.

Down to earth guy, really honest about history and the academic profession. Good guy to talk to about your degree and your future. I agree: merciful. Still thinking about history, doesn't think he has the answer.
