Professor Healy is often rude to students, and does not appear to be the least invested in our learning or growth as social workers. She does not seem interested in her students as people- in short, she does not seem to model social work values in general with students. She no doubt knows research, but sadly, she is not at ALL skilled at teaching.

Words cannot describe how rude, unclear, and crazy this woman can be. Get yourself a tutor if you really want to LEARN anything. I am sure she knows her material, but she is the WORST at teaching it. Its professors like this that reinforce the movement to abolish tenure. BTW, there's no other option for taking this class: you are stuck with her.

Ms. Healy is not an easy professor to take classes from. Her teaching style is obtuse and difficult to follow and she carries her biases into the classroom, very unbecoming for a social work professor!

She is not too tough for grading but she is not the best person to get along with. She gets frustrated easily and takes it out on her students.
