Okay Dr. Clarke is crazy LOL. He is a funny teacher, he talks a lot and makes jokes. He seems like a mean teacher, but he gives you an A. Just turn in the homework and you'll get an A. He has tons of extra credit and interactive projects so pretty good opportunity to raise your grade. Also a GPA booster class. I took two of his courses and got an A

I have never hated a class as much as I hate Forensic Anthropology. Clark is the worst teacher I have ever had. So much that comes out of his mouth is condescending and nothing he says is straightforward. VERY confusing syllabus and assignments. Can't ask a question and get an actual answer and then he will go on an unrelated tangent. DO NOT TAKE!!

TAKE ANY AND EVERY CLASS FROM THIS PROFESSOR! I was thrown into this course last second due to a schedule change, and it instantly became my favorite course! The first day of class, he told us that it was his goal for all of his students to get an A in the class. I learned so much from his lectures and had a blast listening to all of his stories.

Great teacher, he really knows his stuff but will make you work. I worked harder then I ever expected in this class but it was very interesting at the same time. Cool interactive projects but a lot of homework and studying to pass this class.

Took this for distribution and ended up working harder than I thought I would need to. I learned a lot that I'll remember beyond the classroom. There's also plenty of extra credit opportunities.

He is a really good teacher overall. Has a cool way of incorporating the text subjects into a factual class lecture. As long as you do the outlines and pay attention, this class is an easy natural science credit.

Clark is terrible. I took the class to fill the sci credit and bc of the mixed reviews i took him. WORST DECSION. talks nonsense, lectures have nothing to do with tests. 2 page papers due once or twice every week! the dig is a must. also his character is...well hes a bit full of himself. just avoid it all together, take something else.

Class is filled with busy work assignments and requires you to go on a ridiculous dig. During the dig Dr.Clark drags you out on a Saturday to a spot five minutes from his house and about an hour and half away from CUA. Where you dig up nothing bascically. Oh and if you don't go you fail the class. Dont' take the class unless you half to.

One of the most boring professors I've ever had, you literally have to shoot yourself in the foot to stay awake in his class. He lectures non-stop from the beginning until the end of class and has absolutely no interaction with the students. The tests and projects are pretty easy though. Just hope you get a good TA for your discussion section.

Dr. Clarke has to be one of the best professors at CUA. I never thought an Anthropology course would be easy or fun and yet Dr. Clarke does a good job of mixing the two together. Attendance is Mandatory but, its an easy class to fill in that Natural Science Requirement. Everyone should take this class at one point or another. Highly recommend it.

Haven't been on the dig yet, but Clark is funny, and yeah...Eric the TA is a cutie, as mentioned previously. I think some kids have a tally on how many time Loudon County is mentioned in Dr. Clark's examples lol it's worth taking this class as a natural science requirement to dodge lab sciences

This class is extremely easy. The primate project was especially fun. But attendance is mandatory, and while Prof. Clark is hilarious, he just repeats everything I read in the book and it's so boring and pointless. TA Eric is very awesome, and easy on the eyes!!

Great class, very enthusastic. Should be on the history channel. Don't listen to that other guy, the dig is fun and worth the hassle in exchange for the easy as pie tests and papers...

One of the funniest classes I have ever had because he talks about the subject matter with total enthusiasm while the entire class falls asleep from boredom. Make sure you get TA Todd if you take this professor!
