He teaches way too fast the first part of the class, then slows down for 2 weeks, then piled tons of homework and 3 projects on us the last 2 weeks of class. Last homework assignment due on the wednesday before the final. AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS STATISTICS IS YOUR LIFE.

Comment:
Very boring prof. He knows his stuff, but has an EXTREMELY hard time portraying wtf he's teaching. I learned only by doing the homework and asking him MANY questions. His curve on his tests start only if the class average is less than an 85. He gives you the answers to the homework, but worked out by hand, not minitab.

U spend hours on lab reports (25%) - minimum 6 hours - labs dont take long. One midterm (35%), that will be hard and focuses more on the math. A final (25%) which will be more focused on important concepts in the 2nd half of course, and a final learning experience paper (15%). This man is strict and does not mess around. KNOW STATISTICS INSIDE OUT!

His expectations are high but he is willing to be help if he feels you are putting in the effort. While I can't say I ever found him to be all that personable, he was one of my favorite profs. This man knows it all and great to have teach upper courses where you want all of your newfound knowledge brought together for you.

Very good teacher, teaches from powerpoint. It's mostly straight from the book but he throws in some better clarification and doesn't require attendance if you'd rather learn it yourself. Very dry though, have some caffeine handy.

Math dept asked him to teach a prob/stats course. Lectures are power point and dry. But he is intelligent and really loves prob/stats and wants you to love it too. HW was generally light. Brought a lot of good real world word problem examples which were good and intersting. Nice guy.

His lectures aren't the most entertaining and the labs take 12 hours to complete, but he's an alright nice guy. He grades great, just remember to follow the format, and you'll get a 90 for sure.

Great Professor. Seriosuly, if you have a class that tries to put something back into it for him it's great. Great guy, very intelligent and is willing to make class enjoyable if you let him.
