Professor Clason really cares about the subject that he is teaching. You can tell from his lectures that he is very passionate about literature. The tests and quizzes are pretty easy if you read the books. The quote parts of the tests are a little hard. Also, be prepared to read a lot. We read through 9 books in a 15 week semester.

BEST PROFESSOR HANDS DOWN. He is truly an amazing person inside and out. Comes to class with a big smile on his face and always lighten up the classroom. He cares about his students and knows when you are putting an effort in the class. I recommend taking him for whatever subject he teaches.

Professor Clason is a great guy, he loves talking to his students and loves teaching the subject. He lectures the whole time and even though he tries to keep it interesting, it can be boring. But his tests are easy as long as you read the books. I would recommend him!

Christopher Clason is such an amazing professor! Very fast with responses on emails and truly is there to help you and guide you through the course! He has such a passion for literature that he wants to teach too others. Yes, there is a lot of reading and as an online course it's up to you to have the correct time management! Doable course!

AMAZING PROFESSOR! He knows his stuff and knows how to teach it. He's always willing to help and answer questions and his grading is extremely fair. He has a great sense of humor and knows how to keep the class entertained while still teaching. I would definitely take another class with him and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone taking German!

Clason is the BEST German professor at OU. Go to class, listen to lecture, and you will do just fine. I take him for all German courses and love his teaching methods. Best personality--keeps you awake! He definitely knows the material too, which is a plus. TAKE HIS CLASS.

Prof Clason will always be my favorite college professor, period. He's quirky (in an engaging way), passionate about his topic (just ask him about the Romantic period of German lit!), and truly cares about his students. I graduated in 2000, way before ratemyprofessors.com existed, but I wanted to let everybody know what a great prof he is!

One of the best professors I've ever had! He's weird in a fun way; his classes are always interesting and he's very knowledgable. His classes aren't hard but they're not blow-off. Very amusing Professor, as the best German professors come in odd shapes such as his. Quirky. Doesn't ask for too much but it still demanding in that you are required to learn. In 371 we had to write 3 papers in German with citations of Lit Analysis but he made it bearable through class discussions. Take him if you're a German student!

Excellent professor, easily one of the best I've had so far. He is interesting, knows what he's talking about, and very understanding. He seems to be an easy grader, but you learn a lot. Some of the material is boring, but he tries to make it fun.
