I was incredibly nervous about taking a philosophy upper division credit without any background of the subject, but Curry makes it so easy to understand. He explained each topic to the best he could, and if you didnt understand he had no problem diving further to make it clearer. He makes the best jokes, and hardly strays away from topics.

Great Professor. The work was easy, quizzes really balanced grade. The lectures were really engaging and Dr. Curry always had a great analogy for all the complex material. However, I still have no clue what Socrates was on about.

Unbelievable, whether you are into philosophy or not. Dr. Curry is extremely intelligent, absolutely hysterical, and can give a damn good lecture. Extremely helpful and will blow your mind. Highly advise taking a class with him.

Perhaps the only real quality prof I've had here at Potsdam. You really want to take intro with this guy. Not only does he have a complete mastery of the subject matter, he will help you to think in totally new ways. Smokes like a Chimmney, drinks gallons of coffee a day, swears in class. Good times
