Comment:

Was an extremely helpful teacher. Professor Dennis was always willing to answer questions during class or during his office hours. The quizzes can be difficult, but not unreasonable. Gave very helpful study guides and was always excited for class to begin. This was my favorite class of the semester.

Comment:

He is a really nice guy and is very helpful if you see him during office hours. For the non online assignments he was lenient about when you turned them in and also very unclear about them. Quizzes/tests almost nothing like class and are difficult.

Dennis has alot of real life experiences. Sometimes he will believe he covered a topic that he covered with another class. Overall Dennis is a quality teacher and I believe everyone that was in my class of 9 passed with a B or better. This is based on how he grades midterm and final only 10% of final grade for both.

And to think, I loved accounting before class with this proffessor! Assignments unclear. Lectures unorganized and incomplete. I would have been better off to buy the book and read it myself. I was told by my sucessful working accountant friends, "if you get this guy, drop the class."

Not clear on all assignments. Difficult to get straight answers out of if you have a question. Very scattered and unorganized. If you meet with him outside of class, he is WAY more helpful than if you ask him in class. Very frustrating 2 quarters with him.

Dr. Dennis is not as bad as others have said! He is a very nice guy and will help you as much as you need if you ask. He stresses importance of class attendance and particpation. He does list all of the assignments in the syllabus, and does not give notice when something is due, but if you read the syllabus you will have no problems

A horrible class. His teaching was random and confusing, and I usually got little out of the lectures. Almost no instruction is given on projects until a few days before they are due. An unnecessarily hard class, that probably wont help much in the long run.

God, how does this guy still have a job? Every student I have ever talked to hates him. Sitting in his class is absolute torture. He is on a total power trip. Avoid at all costs!!

This guy was so unbelievably bad. Everyone in my class HATED him with a passion. He's a total jerk. I'm disgusted that he's a professor at my school, but I guess thats tenure for you. He'd be fired from a real job within a week! Horrible, just horribl

It was one of the hardest classes for me....he didn't teach in the normal way and how most students are accustomed to. I do not think his way of teaching worked at all. The way I passed was with tutoring from someone outside the class.

Dr. Dennis was a horrendous teacher. Most people in my class had a difficult time achieving a D, let alone a fair grade. I would never recommend him to anyone unless they already had a working knowledge of accounting.

Dr Dennis is not a teacher for everyone, he does not teach much in class, so you have to do a lot of the learning by yourself out of class. Be prepared to do projects with no direction or instruction from him. Hard teacher for most people
