Dixon is by far one of my favorite design professors! He can help and teach you through any problem. He gives trying yet fun projects. He gives sound feedback and critiques. And he also cares about his students, which is hard to come by. I remember I was staying after class working on homework and he talked to me for an hour about life and design.

Dixon does tend to talk A LOT, you have been warned. Some of his lectures are worth listening to, but if you take more than one of his classes, trust me, you will hear it all more than once. :) Still an awesome professor, and highly recommended.

I'm a senior Graphi Design student and let me tell you, I go to David for everything. He's very knowledgable about the subjects of his classes and materials. Dixon will substitute classes that better fit what career goals you have so you don't waste money or time. He lets you work from home, which I take advantage of. He's clear on what he expects.

Maybe a little less philosphising, and a little more teaching? He is easy unless you want an A, then you need to catch him on a good semester. Can be VERY moody (often effects his teaching). Though if you are having personal problems, he'll listen to you and try to help. I was never quite sure what he wanted from me in class, ALOT of mixed signals.
