Dr. Fisher is great. He is an extremely good lecturer and makes the material come alive with great illustrations. No matter what he always puts history in context with a solid Biblical world view. He is very interactive and always there to answer a question or discuss and issue. A good man and a great teacher.

You are better off taking this class in the off-semester with Dr.Scholfeild. Lectures are completely boring and though he's a nice guy, he doesn't relate history to taday very well.I don't mind concentration but boring lectures don't make that task any easier!He does know his stuff though.Needs to offer extra credit for bad test takers.

Excelent teacher! One of the bests I've ever had. I tried to sleep a couple of times during his lectures but he makes them so interesting that I couldn't fall asleep. The guys who don't like Fisher as a teacher simply do not want to study because History is a class that requires memorizing and concentration.

History of Civ is an easy class but way too time consuming. Quizzes every class period over 20 pages of reading. Good teacher though. He realizes he is teaching history of civ so he maes it interesting and explains concepts well.
