David Forte is awesome. Love his enthusiasm for what he teaches and his ability to make it interesting (often by focusing on historical context). He wears his politics on his sleeve but he wasn't the first professor I had who did. That might bother some but part of law school is growing thick skin.

Although we are on opposite sides of the political spectrum, this didn't really matter, and it made for interesting discussions. Very knowledgeable. Helpful outside of class. Cares about students...yes, even the liberal ones. Enjoyed the year with Forte.

Professor Forte is an excellent teacher! He pushes his students to exceed and expects them to respond to questions with intelligent answers, as they should...we are, after all, law students. Most individuals who dislike his teaching method are usually those interested in working for legal aid who haven't a clue about constutional law- scary!

I've had Forte for 3 classes, and he is outstanding. Disregard any snide remarks made by 1L's disappointed in their C in Con Law. Get over it, you're a 1L. Forte is a certifiable genius, and contrary to what others say, tends to keep his lectures fair/unbiased. I'm a liberal and I adore, respect & admire the man. Take him for any perspective class.

Professor Forte is one of the best professors I have ever had. He teaches difficult subject matters but he is more than responsive to questions and concerns. Most criticisms of his teaching style is that he demands a lot, and people who do not like him simply do not like being pushed to be better.
