Foster is awesome. His labs are really interesting and when lecturing he always ties it back to the "real world". He is really understanding too- I did most of the work in my lab pair and received a slightly higher grade because of it.

Honors EnviroEthics: Material should have been interesting, but readings were way too long and jargon-laden, even for honors. Essay tests nearly impossible to finish in the time allotted. No explanation for poor test grades that led to a high overall grade. Did well, but for what it's worth, I learned little. Take if you love ethics & philosophy.

Foster is a great guy. He's really willing to help you out, but you need to seek out that help! He's very accessible, so don't be afraid to go to his office and ask questions if you have them. The tests aren't bad if you study and work hard. Be prepared to memorize a LOT of stuff!
