Dr. Franklin is my idol. I don't think I have ever met someone as interesting as he is. It should be required to take Dr. Franklin. Tests are not a cake walk and require a lot of time to study. It doesn't matter though, the class was SO worth it!

Dr. Franklin is an excellent teacher, but his opinions on Zell Miller are disappointing. Leave your politics out of education, and give the students the opportunity to decide for themselves. Mr. Miller has more history with the college, and more right to teach than Dr. Franklin does. Don't fear the "other side", engage and debate it.

Franklin is awesome! I love him! Quite intertaining. If you dont want to take many notes one day ask him about his oppinion of zell miller... lol. Hard class though you def have to study! Hard tests and many random tangents in his notes.

Franklin is an awesome man- a mad scientist of a man... I love his class, his mannerisms, and how interesting the subject matter becomes w/ him. He also isan elite transcendentalist with whom you may not agree on everything, but he does think outside the box, and that's the most important thing. To me he has good views on a lot of things, though.

Dr. Franklin is one of the few reasons I still love YHC two years after graduating. Eccentric and subtly demanding, he is the epitome of a good professor who expects the best of all students, no matter their interests or major. Generally entertaining when he gets on his "soapbox." Must see to believe. :P
