Dr. Hall, He wrote your freshman curriculum. He is the Gourd (Comp Sci) of Freshman Engineering. He cares. His voice is weird but you get past that real fast. You learn the material,. Also multiple universities stole his freshman engineering curriculum for themselves because he did it so well. Take him if you want to make it as an engineer.

GREAT teacher. I had him for engineering 120 and I would highly recommend any freshman engineering student to take him. He would explain things clearly and his grading wasn't too tough. It's engineering though, expect it to be hard. I got an A out of the class but if you want an A you have to study, A LOT!

The class is very interesting. All about SolidWorks so bring a charged computer every day! Record you monitor as you follow along (OBS) it will save a lot of questions and frustrations. Keep up with the powerpoint project. Don't underestimate the homework. Check for the homework periodically (he is forgetful).

Did not notice a significant difference in his teaching compared to other professors (not sure why he's so popular), but was still extremely nice and helpful. His classes often have the highest averages on exams. He grades stuff very slowly and it takes FOREVER to get posted online but other than that I loved him as a teacher!

Dr. Hall is my favorite teacher. He goes out of his way to help students understand the material and is willing to help with homework or project difficulties in his office hours. I took him for all of my 12x courses and just wish he taught courses in my type of engineering!

Excellent teacher and pretty cool guy. Down to earth and understands the amount of work given to engineering students so he is willing to work with you on some assignments and deadlines. Really receptive to students and questions. Lenient when it comes to grading (compared to other 120 teachers).

This guy explains the material pretty well, but realize that this is a difficult subject by itself. You should know that Dr. Hall does not make his own tests, but uses Dr. Swambom's tests. They have completely different teaching styles and his form of teaching won't help much with the test. Just study and do lots of problems.

Awesome teacher! I wish I'd taken his class for 121, too. He really knows what he's talking about. His voice gets a little droning after a while, but he's a cool guy. His test weren't that bad, and the homework was generally doable. A very enjoyable class.

The best ME teacher at Tech, no doubt. Will bend over backwards to help you. The quizzes in 321 are pretty cheesy, but you should at least get a B in the class. Murray was the main reason why people didn't like this class. 497 is definitely worth taking for a Tech. Elective. Awesome class, very interesting.

Very knowledgable. One of the few teachers that has or has used most of the stuff he talks about in Manu. Processes. Weekly quizes get tough sometimes and he has to run through a lot of things to cover all of the material. Very helpful and super easy to talk to (he also listens to suggestions!)
