Worst Professor I have EVER had. He needs to retire! Swore during lectures, would work a problem, take forever to do it, get to the end and say "Well that's not right."

Hardest I've ever worked in any class EVER. His test questions are so hard. He would also skip over parts in the lecture and then it would be on the test. If you learn from reading the text you may do well. Has high expectations and everything is heavily weighted on two tests and a project. Pair this class with Org Behavior or one with a light load

Comment:

When asking questions you're not sure if he's gonna bite your head off and call you stupid or commend you. The criteria for the large paper were not well defined. But the midterm and final were very straight forward, if you did the homework, you'd be OK on the tests. Lectures were pointless (he reads right out of the book), but the book is good.

Dr. Hemley is not the easiest guy to like nor is he an easy professor. However; he genuinely cares for his students success and because of that is why he is not a pushover when it comes to his classes. He is one of the few professors left that is trying to actually prepare you for the real world and not simply be your friend!

He is a jerk and will not answer questions. He kept calling me stupid, even though I have an "A" average in other courses. Would not provide any recorded lectures for the online summer course I was taking. Kept lying he had not received my proctor form for testing. Trying to avoid him in the future.

I have taken many classes with Dr. Hemley and while he is a difficult teacher he is more than willing to help with anything. If you're willing to put in the time and effort you will succeed because he will do everything in his power to help you. Even though he seems rough at first you can tell he really does enjoy his students.

I've taken five classes with Dr. Hemley between my BBA and my MBA. He is HARD. However, he has a heart of gold, and if you are willing to put in the effort and really take his class seriously, he will teach you a lot. He is much better at teaching in person than online classes.

Dr. Hemley is a very hard teacher, but has a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience in business. If you stick with it and do everything he tells you, you will pass the class and learn a lot from the man.

SO hard! He jumps all over the place and is just too old to be teaching. This is my second time taking this class and still makes no sense. He isn't helpful either, says one thing and then changes his mind about it.
