Awesome professor, very considerate and helpful.. I loved his course about alternative energy and Solid-state lighting for the developing world, a topic almost a taboo in ultra conservative Alberta. One funny thing he taught us was that early windmills were used to grind "corn" in the antiquity in Persia even though corn came from the Americas.haha

He was soo conceited and he was quoted in the paper as saying: "If money wasn't a problem and I could find someone to take my job, I'd quit today" Just imagine how he treats his classes based on that!

One time, I went to his office to ask questions during his office hour, someone said "%$^# off!!" and the door was "BOOOOMMMM!!!", closed... Simple concepts became so complicated
