He's one of the best professors I've ever had. He's incredibly organized and can answer any and all questions that you could come up with. Even though he's remarkably intelligent and accomplished, you'd never have any idea; he's never condescending.

Marcopoulos is a great lecturer, no doubt about it. It seems to defy logic, the way I stay awake during what should be long, boring lectures, but he just knows so damn much that every lecture is really interesting (if you enjoy history).

Great teacher...you might fall asleep in lecture every now and then because it can get boring,but he is very clear and extremely concise.very intelligent.GET PROCTOR AS YOUR TA. The man is like another professor and is just as,if not more helpful

not the most exciting class as far as his delivery, but marcopoulos definitely knows his stuff.. hes very pleasant and is always willin to have a discusssion about anythin.. very knowledgable in a wide range of historical topics.. get proctor as ur TA!

Marcopoulos has obviously been reading the same lecture for the last 40 years. Not only does he teach history, he's probably lived through most of it. Good class though if you like history, really interesting reading. Make sure to get Proctor as your TA!

Outstanding Professor! Presents clear, concise lectures that reveal an unbelievably vast scope of knowledge. I have found no other Professor at Tufts who knows as much about such a diverse range of topics. The nicest prof. you could ever ask for!
