Other than being BORING, the hour and 20 u have for class, 95% of it you sit in silence and when he does speak, its so off topic then expects you to take tests on something that wasnt even taught to you. I wouldnt take him ever again

He's honestly a nice man but his lectures have almost nothing to do with what the class is about. Very cut & dry and boring and rarely funny, but as long as you show up & participate (even answering his pointless questions), you'll be fine. Participation is KEY. Don't worry about the 50-million quizzes he gives - no one ever passes them.

worst class ever, you can't pass unless you answer his stupid questions, which your can't find in the book anyway i don't know why he made us waste our money. you have to argue with him to get a cheek in his little book. and he seems to have a problem with british people. I'm angry that i got stuck with him but he's the only one teaching the class

this guy is obsessed, and i do mean obsessed with the color purple. He loves to talk, just not about ANYTHING in particular. He once talked about fly fishing for an hour. You have to participate or you won't pass, and if he calls on you and you don't know the answer, he embarasses you. He changed the date of the final and didn't tell me. not cool.

Great guy. Nuts, but great. Loves students who come to class. If you miss a class, just talk to him after, make up a reason, and he checks it off, and *poof* its gone. If you talk to him, he loves you. VERY interesting, VERY INTELLIGENT.

At first I though this guys was just a big old windbag, and though I disagreed with a lot of what he was teaching, in the end I grew to respect him. He's a real character, very interesting guy, and worth getting to know. I have mixed feelings about his teaching style, but I highly recommend him.
