One of the best Profs at LU! He wrote the textbook and follows it closely. Very, Very knowledgable on his subject and always willing to help and even do extra research and bring it to class the next class for student inquires brought up by students during a discussion (eg. Muir and the Native Americans). Some say classes are boring, but they r not

Nice Guy and knows his stuff. No matter what you will not be able to stay awake in his lectures. His voice is like a lullabuy. Do whatever it takes to stay awake (hit yourself, injest caffine) to get the most out of his classes.

Great guy! Once you get past the monotone accented voice, the stuff he says is great; very interesting material. Not a single thing wrong with his course, and the tests are great! He even wrote his own book for environmental studies, what more could you ask for...is he married? Haha
