This course is very intense. He is helpful and extremely knowledgeable but may come off as intimidating. The exams are hard because they cover every single thing in the text. The good thing is that the grading is curved. I got D's on my exams and ended up with a B for the course

The material in this class is intense but I found the lectures interesting and Professor Lally's knowledge impeccable. The tests are multiple choice but the amount of material is just so vast that its so hard to memorize everything. Study hard, read the book so that you understand the concepts and be greatful that he grades on a curve.

Lally is a great professor, considering that he IS teaching such a hard subject. I suggest to NEVER procrastinate on reading. Attending lectures always helps, but it is essential to read from the text. Powerpoints were useless and a waste of paper to print. The best thing about this class is that he grades on a curve.

This was by far the most difficult class that I have taken so far in college. I would definately recommend taking this class at KCC or with any other PHYS teacher. You don't want to suffer through this class and this is coming for a Deans List student.

Dr. Lally is very passionate about teaching Physiology. He could've been an EE but he opted to teach PHYL instead. I would definitely recommend his class to anyone in the KLS department. Now Dr. Merritt, that's another story. :)

He knows what he is talking about, but his class is soo boring. I'm not sure if the class helps out with the tests b/c I never go, b/c he is so boring. The study guide for the exam was very helpful though. He has a monotone voice...he took something I'm really interested in and just shot it down.

Exams are quite difficult. The class is somewhat boring. He tries to liven the class with jokes, but they're quite contrived and comes off as "trying too hard." It even irritates me when he tries to "flavor" up the class by swearing.
