Terrible professor. I stopped going to lecture after the first test and my grades improved. I taught myself the material. All he does is read the powerpoints word for word in lecture. However, he does curve a lot. That was the only good thing. His tests are impossible. Will test you on the smallest, minute things.

I am retaking this class, because I struggled the first go round. He is very hard, his lectures are so boring and he expects everyone to stay awake. Its 8 in the morning and he doesn't do much to keep your attention. Gives mini quizzes, so you kind of have to pay attention.

I agree with the other comments, this class was impossible. I am normally an A student and I got a C in this class. His lectures are boring and the exams are impossible. I completely stopped going to class towards the end since I wasn't learning anything.

He was a horrible teacher!!!! I am a solid A student in EVERYTHING and bio is usually my strong-suit but I STRUGGLED to get a B-. I have since then taken a harder class in which I got a better grade with less work. He chooses these tiny pieces of info for his test and grades unfairly. AVOID THIS CLASS!!!

He is not a good teacher and he makes the course a little difficult but you can recieve a passing grade but be prepare to study hours and hours for this class and study the sample tests also. Also I recommend you take this class with other easy gen ed classes, not your major classes if possible

Wow, be prepared to study. It IS POSSIBLE to get an A. However, be ready to put in 10-15 hours of studying in for each test. The tests are curved an entire letter grade and detailed lecture notes are put on blackboard. However, he is a horrible, rude teacher that throws tantrums. Be prepared to teach yourself!

Study, study, study! His tests are quite challenging! Try to do as best as you can in lab and on the homwork. You will need all the points you can get. He gets quite angry when people talk during lecture and often freaks out-- beware!

this teacher is the absolute worst teacher ever!!!! he rambles during the entire lecture and doesnt explain a thing.there is no tutor and the exams are the worst!!! the only good thing is the exams are curved. but they were still hard. i hated this class and the teacher!!!! if you want to maintain a good GPA do not take this class.

Worst teacher ever. I went to him to ask how to study for a test and he told me to turn my TV off and to stop hanging out with my hoodlum friends. He was so boring, and he makes the tests ludicriously hard. This is the first teacher that i actually put my headphones on during his lecture. I did better when i did not pay attention to him.

Wow. Does not make any effort to make the material interesting. Trys to make it harder than it really is. Rambles and rambles about stuff not even on the tests. Does not care how difficult his tests are he just curves them. Class average on tests were 50%. If you want to learn dont take this class. If you just want to get through it- go for it.

the absolute worst teacher ever. he is awful at teaching, and constantly contradicts his notes with the book. i went to him for help numerous times, and he was never willing to help. he just made me feel really stupid and worthless. he is an awful teacher. AVOID him if possible.

class is really hard. i failed every test and got a C in the class. he curves the class over 10% so if you have him just take it. i NEVER went to lecture and im not a "smart" kid and i got a C. just study the notes and do good on the homework and youll be fine.

He is a horrible teacher. He reads directly off the lecture notes that are like 15 pages long and you are expected to have them printed before the class. He treats everyone as if they are dumber than him and he isn't helpful at all. I suggest that if you don't have to take this class you DON'T!
