EASIEST CLASS EVER! great professor. All quizzes and test are taken home so you can use your book and his slides. He basically gives you full credit on all assignments as long as you turn something in. Attendance isn't fully mandatory. If you email him before hand it wont affect your grade too much.

Comment:

He is a great guy who loves what he does. I learned a lot and found his class useful. I found quizzes difficult, but they are open book which I wouldn't have passed from just listening to lectures. Mid-term and final exam cover a lot of ground.

Great Teacher who relies too much on power points. You knew from day one what was expected and what the assignments would be. Attendance was required, and if the class got involved in the discussion it was great, but if not, the power points were tedious. A semester long service project of 15 hours, so ensure you have that open in your schedule

This professor makes his classes so easy they are horrible. It is not challenging. You can never read or put forth effort and you will do fine. The classes do not help challenge people and improve their skills. The content is good but presented like the students are in third grade.

Dr. Mayhew is a good teacher and you learn a lot from him. You have to apply the skills that you learn in class to real-life examples, so it's not just nebulous information. He uses a LOT of powerpoint, but you get over that. :) I would recommend Dr. Mayhew.
