I liked david, out of all the profs he is the one I learned the most from. He engages with the class and it is interesting material. I would take all my classes with him. He is a harder marker but I still enjoy the way he teaches!

He likes A LOT of input from students during the class, that's why it's important to do the readings beforehand; plus, you will get the most out of the class that way and probably do better on the mid-term and your 2 term papers. He's very approachable and kind, and helped steer me in the right direction when choosing a paper topic.

Terry is a really nice guy and his class is really easy. As long as you just read his textbook (which is short) you'll be fine. His lectures are quite pointless, and he posts them all online so going to class isn't always necessary. This class is an easy A, but you really don't learn a whole lot. He also replies to emails right away which is nice.

Would not recommend taking David's class, it is kind of a joke, he spends to much time ranting about "location" rather than teaching. The class I was in walked over him. As for his the textbook, which he wrote, he barely, if ever uses it. His tests were pretty simple but the project he gives you isn't clear and is very confusing. Painful classes!

David's classes are easy to do well in, but at the end of the semester you have learnt nothing. Each class David talks about what you will do next class but you never do it. Lectures are what I would imagine a philosophy class to be like; he asks questions and never answers them. You'll need the textbook for the tests cause he wont teach anything.

Not going to lie, the class is really easy. That doesn't make him a good professor though - I've never been so bored in my entire life! He shows up with about 3 slides done and just rambles about nothing the entire class. I didn't learn a single thing and he never gave us back our grades for anything.

Ah, David... An interesting character and psychologist wannabe. You must find humor in the little things in his classes. Do not be afraid to ask him for exam study guides- the test questions are taken directly from them. David is very unpredictable and makes up exam questions that haven't been covered in class- his study guide is your best friend!!

Probably the world's worst teacher, I am not sure how he qualifies as one. For an upper level course I should be getting something from this class but am learning nothing. No point in attending. Just read the readings.

David was one of my first teachers at TRU and by far the worst. The content he has on tests have nothing to do with what we discuss in class. He uses a lot of names and dates that we have never covered. I also found him to be quite rude and all over the place. I was not impressed.

His tests are quite easy, mostly from the text. He can be really awkward at times and his classes can kind of be all over the place. I don?t know why he bothers asking questions in class because if your answer isnt exactly what he wanted, he pretty much ignores it and proceeds with what he was going to say anyways!

This class is sooo painful to sit through. All he does is talk in circles. If he could come up with comething cohesive to say he might gain his classes intrest.

As a soci major I have had the misfortune to sit through numerous classes taught by this man. His incoherence and seemingly unrelated reading materials lead me to believe that this man may have gotten his degree out of a Cracker Jack box.

Worse proff i've ever had! I was so excited about the course he taught and i didn't think that topic could be so easily butchered! Waste of money, time, and most upsetting was the waste of a learning opportunity. Plus he makes unsupported comments that are ****! i was shocked that people like him get PhD's :S

I thought David was a good teacher. He before tests he would give us a study guide that was mirrored to the test.. and would tell us exactly what he wanted on papers. as long as you come to class and writs lots of notes, you can do fine in his class.

awesome for lower level courses, however when it comes to upper level courses well... the man should not be allowed to teach! he didn't even teach from the text book because he thought half of it was "not quite right." the fact that he chose a text that he completely disagreed with shows an utter lack of reason and responsibility on his part

He is the worst professor that I have ever had. He has no idea what he is talking about and yet argues with you when you call him on his BS. I was never so disappointed with a class. It was unorganized and pointless. By the drop date, we only had 20% of our total marks back. It was very sad. Even his comments on the papers were pointless.
