Devires is an awful teacher. I took him as my last gen ed and was let down. The class is very boring and notes are disorganized and lack clarity. He gives you a good idea of what will be on the test, but still puts lots of surprise questions on it. I would not take him if at all possible.

Great Teacher... He tells you almost all of what will be on the test and the other stuff comes from the notes exactly! Just study all the notes the night before like I did and you cannot go wrong. He is really old and just gives the notes on a powerpoint and emails some to you. There are 4 papers but 2 are personal and the others are REALLY Easy!

Greatest guy ever! He really cares about his students. He sets up meetings at the beginning of each semester just to get acquainted with you. There is a lot of note taking. He pretty much makes you rewrite the old testament, but take the notes! If you study the notes you will easily ace the tests. Also tells you exactly what to study for.

Dr. D is a really nice guy. He is very helpfull, and he welcomes everyone to his home for a BBQ at the end of the year. His test are a little difficult, but he gives tons of hints.

Professor Devries is such a nice man. He truley care about his students. He understands that we have other classes and other priorities. His tests are very straight forward b/c he pretty much tells you what is going to be covered. I would recommend him to everyone who is taking Rel classes.

An excellent teacher who takes a genuine interest in his students. I wish there were more classes I could have taken. You do have to have the notes for his class, from EVERY class, as the tests can be kind of challenging.

If you decide to take any Religion class, look for him. He is so AWESOME!!!! He REALLY cares about his students, and wants to help them in anyway. He can start to sound boring, but all together his class was wonderful. Two thumbs WAY up!

The class material is relatively boring. Power point everyday- but makes everything else EASY! Very nice, genuine guy. He has very high grades on the tests, and most of the time will tell you EXACTLY what to study. Cares a lot about everyone and not a comprehensive final in 100 classes!!
