I took him for Calc 2, and honestly he's the best calc professor I've had. He is very kind, and a very lenient grader. He wants you to pass, so as long as you show that you understand the material on his exams, you should do just fine. His lectures are very thorough and easy to follow. You wont get used to him quickly but give it time!!

I took him for calc 151 and calc 152 because he is an easy grader. He gives so much partial credit because he wants you to pass. Lecture is really boring and really puts you to sleep

HE IS GREAT! I took calculus1 with him, and i didn't hesitate to take calc2 with him. He is a super easy grader, he explains he material very well. TAKE THIS CLASS

Although he cares about his students passing, I feel like he could do a better job at explaining the more difficult things instead of the basics 5 times over. When he lectures, he does not interact with the students, which is hard to work with and interactive exercises could be the solution... Explaining optimization is not his strength.

He explains the material very well. Although the lectures are somewhat boring, they are very informative and his tests are mainly based on what he explains. Weekly homework, which is sometimes long. Exams are somewhat harder than other professors' exams, but he is very kind with extra credit, like one problem each exam that worths 10 points.

Probably the most caring and helpful teacher at IIT. He truly wants all his students to succeed, and although at times his lectures can be boring, his exams are very straightforward and theres a nice curve to the class too!

He is a very knowledgeable professor. He is also very kind and will help when ever needed. It is important to show that you do care about the class so he can see that you are invested. I took him for Calc 1 and was sad to find out he did not to teach Calc 2. Definitely recommend if you have a scheduled study time habit.

The lectures are pretty boring, but he is a nice guy. He's pretty good at explaining and his exams are not too hard. If you go to classes and do the homework you'll probably get A in exams. Also, the quizes are very helpful and pretty easy.

He is not the best at explaining, but the concepts are easy and you should understand them. He is a pretty cool guy and you could get an easy A. I already knew the material and I found that it is better to skip classes as they are really boring and demotivate me from doing hw and studying. He is very flexible as far as grading goes. Take him!

I love this proffessor. He is truely the best. This class is amazing and engaging. He writes down step by step on board and is helpful in his office hours. He loves to help out students. I have had an amazing time in his class. The course goes fast, so you should be paying attention but if you need help he will always be there. Love Maslanka :D

The prof I've liked the best at IIT! Only got a C because I bombed the final, he is a lenient grader, has lots of office hours, and will do problems with you from start to end. So helpful. In short, I don't understand why he doesn't have better reviews, he's an awesome professor I actually learned a lot and liked a subject I've always disliked.

He is always willing to help and really cares about his students if you don't ask for help he will come to you.Lecture is easy to follow, very organized,and goes over the book examples except with further explanation of hidden steps. Quizzes are easy if you understand & do the h.w. Exams are difficult but he does give a lot of partial credit.

tends to drone/speak in a monotone and say uh and yeah a bit too much. Easy class, he really is a genius. I got the impression he was so smart he had a hard time explaining at our level, which was part of why it was hard to listen to him.

tends to drone on and look only at the board, not interacting well with students. He was very good and explained everything well at first, but had too much left at the end with not enough time. I had a 97% going into the final, and then got a 30% on the final, since he crammed so many units and did not go over them as well as the previous ones.

Easy sauce class. Showing up yields bonus points. Kind of hard to follow certain lectures but he was always willing to help out if you got stuck. Maple = ghey. Took him over the summer.
