Comment:

Had him for Religion & Psychology. He's hilarious, very knowledgable, but can get a bit boring. We had around 6 books, but I only read the first 2- He gives out notes which are basically study guides, and I easily got an A. Take notes on what he says; he reiterates alot. If you need an extra religion, take this class - it's easy and worth it.

Funny. Always wears bow-ties. Can be a bit boring. Tells the most random stories. Says you should read before lecture, but I don't really and still have an A. Its an easy class. A few papers and exams though.

Cute old man. He may bore you 75% of the time, and then randomly come out with these off the wall jokes. Grab a cup of coffee before class and you'll be fine. Read the assigned Bible verses and you won't even need to listen in class. Gives papers instead of tests in some cases. Fairly easy. I recommend.

Friendly teacher. He's funny because he's older and makes off-color comments that most people shun nowadays. Nobody gets a perfect score on an exam, but you can do well if you study.

easy grader but his class is boring because its all lectures no tests except a final and about 6 peoples but all u have to really do is write a summary of the book and than state ur opinion. one of the papers is on himself. very nice teacher

RL101 with Mason was the most boring class that I've ever had to sit through. Not to mention that his tests were next to impossible. He prepares you the least on Islam and makes it the hardest test there is. I learned more about Christianity while we were studying Buddhism, Islam and Judaism than anything. He's very bias! I would NOT reccomend him!

Does not grade fairly. If you end up with this professor make sure you check you tests over and over and also check your test compared to others' tests. He gives people grades depending on whether he likee them. If you find a mistake and show it to him, good luck on getting it changed. Avoid. He is a terrible professor with a bad taching philosophy

clearly the person below never had dr. mason. i had him last semester and there were no pop quizzes, he was a nice old man, and he isn't catholic and doesnt try to be. he's an episcopelian priest. there were three tests, a paper, and a final. do the readings and study for the tests and you'll be fine

This man is out of his mind. He teaches the class like an honors class,& its mandatory,he gives pop quizes at least once a week about undiscussed material and he will definitly put you to sleep. The tests are hard. He is old as**** and stutters like crazy. He claims to be Catholic but then says things like "I wouldnt give Jesus 100% on an essay"

dry and boring are understatements! this was the honors section, so our tests were all short answer with one huge essay that was always to write everything we knew about the book we had just read. so the tests are hard. i fell asleep so many times in that class.
