Would not recommend him to anyone. Rushes through all chapters and works and often makes minor errors. Very soft spoken man so its easy to get bored & fall asleep in class. Doesnt really like answering questions in class and looks at the ceiling while teaching. If you take his class I strongly recommend tutoring after every class

He is terrible and doesnt care if his students succeed. He speeds through lecture like if we can understand his hand writing and what he writes on the board. His lecture notes does not correlate with mymathlab hw (15%ofgrade) & tests are made up, not even from the hw. So basically you need to teach yourself and have other resources other than him.

He was the worst professor I've ever had. He was about 5-10 minutes late to every class and doesn't seem to care about the students. His lectures are not very helpful, he is a poor teacher. I would avoid him.

Literally one of the toughest professors I've ever had. Doesn't give you examples. very monotone voice. The class is a lecture basically. Doesn't really help or answer questions the way you need. He goes entirely too fast so if you're lost in the class good luck trying to stay on task. Heavy grader and expects you to already know how to do things

This teacher didn't give our class any study guides. How am I suppose to know what to study? He gives too much homework. He gives homework in the textbook every class and he doesn't grade it. He teaches too fast. He doesn't curve tests. He always comes late to class and ends class early, doesn't give extra credit. He has horrible hand writing.

This professor is so monotone . Which only makes the class go to sleep .He rushes through subject matter so you realy have to pay attention . He comes late to class everyday , it didnt bother me but just letting you know . I kinda felt bad for him at times because he would try to relate to class but it'll fall flat .I recommend you dont take it .

He is great if you have already taken Calculus 1 and failed it. He doesn't give out study guides but is an easy grader. He gives points for everything. As long as you are on the right track, he will give you credit for the work you have shown. Most people will say he is bad but he gives you a chance to ask questions most students stay quiet

Precalc with him was average. Not too many positives. Biggest cons: Monotone, looks up instead of maintaining eye contact, will put you to sleep sometimes. You need to do the homework to learn. There is a lot of homework but just do the work and you will be fine.

One of the few classes I actually learned something from at WPU. Miller is great Monotone yes but very smart and fair. Honestly never studied or did HW just showed up to class and LISTENED and got B also gained value able knowledge on personal finance he is a great teacher. Grading format is stressful only 3 exams 25% 25% 50% but generous grader

I took him for precalc thinking he couldn't be THAT bad. HE IS. On the first day of class, he spent about 20 minutes lecturing about predicting the future (yup, you read that right) and the rest of the course was filled with pointless ramblings, vague explanations, etc. If you need precalc as a prereq for other math classes, don't take his class!!

Probably the worse, if not THE WORSE, professor in the university! He does not know how to teach math and follows everything the textbooks says even though he doesnt know it himself! 2 in class test and a final if you take pre calc. Only benefit was he was an easy grader and would give partial credit if u made an attempt! AVOID AT ALL COST!

He is an awful professor, on the first day of class everyone talked about his review on the site. Hoping he'd be a better professor my hopes were shot down, and after it laid on the ground it was shot several times more. Do not take this professor.

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! He does not care about his students. Miller just comes into class (late), lectures you about a section in the book, talking to himself and not showing you what he actually did to solve the problem. This class is 100% easier if you just do all the MyMathLab assignments and show up to class before the tests. Worst ever!!

He acts if he does not want to even be in the classroom to teach. He is very vague and his examples never matched the homework or his test problems. He gives two tests and the final exam. I learned nothing from his class and only missed one lecture. If you are good at teaching yourself then this is the class for you.

If you are not a test taker do NOT take his class, he looks at numbers... 40% midterm & 60% final = your final grade does not take your homework or attendance into consideration when calculating your final grade

Good thing about him are the tests are not that hard and no surprises are on the exam, well um that's basically it. Bad things are, he's always late to class, his lectures are never clear and 2 the point, and he over-explains some of the easy things to make them sound confusing. Take him if you want an okay grade. Don't take if you want to learn

This guy is awful. He seriously doesn't care about what he's teaching whatsoever. Took a summer course with him, he told us at beginning of the course that if we showed up 10 mins late, don't even come into class. Then he showed up at least 10-15 mins late EVERY CLASS. Doesn't explain things well either.
